Hi, I’m Irina Barnes, a Nutritional Therapist (DipNT CNM, CNHC) registered with the Association of Naturopathic Practitioners, and I’m here to help you find a nourishing path to health and vitality.

As a mom of two amazing daughters—12-year-old Chloe and 8-year-old Elise—I understand the everyday struggles and triumphs of caring for family health. My passion for nutrition, however, began long before I officially trained as a therapist. My mother, a talented cook, taught me to respect food’s power and to choose ingredients with care. Inspired by her, I graduated from the world-renowned Le Cordon Bleu, and I’ve carried that love of quality food with me ever since.

But my true journey into nutrition didn’t start until my own family faced serious health challenges. When my daughters developed eczema and asthma, and I was struggling with severe postpartum depression, exhaustion, and cognitive issues, I realized that conventional treatments weren’t enough. So, I turned to food. I began to explore how food could nurture, heal, and renew us, and in the process, I transformed my understanding of wellness.

At 44, I embraced my calling and trained as a Nutritional Therapist at The College of Naturopathic Medicine. Now, I work with a holistic, personalized approach to health that goes beyond symptom management. Functional medicine focuses on discovering the root causes of issues rather than simply masking symptoms with medication. Through one-on-one consultations, I strive to uncover the underlying factors affecting your health and provide a customized nutrition and lifestyle plan to help you reach your optimal well-being.

I believe that by understanding how genetics, diet, environment, and lifestyle all work together, we can greatly improve our health and enjoy a richer, healthier life. If you’re ready to explore how nutrition can make a transformative difference in your life, I’d love to guide you on your journey to wellness!

Empowering Your Journey to Wellness

"Every time you eat or drink, you are either feeding disease or fighting it.." – Heather Morgan

Support for Your Brain, Body, and Beyond.

I have a strong focus on health issues related to hormonal imbalances, particularly in supporting women through peri-menopause and menopause, as well as neurodegenerative conditions like Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s disease and other disorders. My aim is to empower you to take charge of your health by guiding you toward a natural, balanced, and personalized approach to nutrition and lifestyle.

What to Expect.

Our journey together begins with a discovery call, where we’ll discuss your wellness goals and select the right program to meet your needs.

In our initial consultation, we’ll look deeply into the root causes behind your symptoms, focusing on sustainable lifestyle changes that can create lasting transformation.

We’ll evaluate your diet, daily routines, and habits to create a holistic plan that aligns with your goals.

To provide the most tailored recommendations, we may consider functional testing to identify any nutritional imbalances, giving us a clear path to optimize your well-being with a customized diet and lifestyle plan.

Packages:

Consultation £225

A 60-minute consultation followed by a 30-minute follow-up session.

3 Month Coaching £450

After our initial consultation, I’ll support you through a series of five sessions over three months to guide you on your path to better health.

6 Month Coaching £600

After our initial consultation, I’ll provide guidance every three weeks over a six-month period to support you on your wellness journey.

Booking a Consultation Steps.

1.  BOOK a consultation
2. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive a health questionnaire to assess your symptoms along with a 3-day food diary to complete.
3. The questionnaire should be completed before our initial consultation to allow for a preliminary analysis. This helps me identify lifestyle and dietary factors that may be influencing your health and provides a clearer view of your health history.
